What You Will Find on this Guide:

What We Are About

BetSitesNG is every punter's guide to all things sports betting in Nigeria. We have been providing expert level opinions on sports betting for a long time now. Our coverage of the subject is comprehensive, ranging from brick and mortar betting shops to the rapidly changing landscape of online sports betting. Our editorial team is made up of a number of people with a wide range of experience in the sports betting industry. If you add up all the time we have been in the business, it comes to over 100 years. That's a century, give or take, of betting stories between us. By betting stories, we mean the kind you get when you hang out with a friend who is also a bettor.

Our Trusted Track Record

We are one of the few sports review websites in Nigeria where you can get reliable and independent reviews. If you are a punter looking for a great experience, we suggest you pay some attention to our website. Unlike most of our competitors, we actually do due diligence on the sites we recommend. We visit the site in question, check our facts against their claims, and make sure everything adds up.

BetSites.ng does not sell reviews or places in its tables. The site is paid for through affiliate commission: when a reader registers with a bookmaker through one of our links, that bookmaker may pay us a fee. It costs the reader nothing, and it does not decide the order of our rankings. Our Affiliate Disclosure page explains it in full.

Independent Review Processes

We often find ourselves in the company of sites that do not have our readers' best interests at heart. We find betting sites that are full of spam, nasty malware, and redirects to other sites you don't want to see. We put these sites on our Blacklisted Sites page and tell our readers to stay away from them. While these cases may be on the extreme end, we also warn punters about other NG betting sites that are slow to pay, have customer support that isn't helpful at all, and have interfaces that are just all over the place.

Where the sports pages come from

The market pages on this site are written from documents anyone can open: the competition's own fixture list, the operator's published prices and market list, and the rules the bookmaker applies when a fixture is abandoned or postponed. Where a rule decides how a bet is settled, it is quoted from the operator's terms and the clause is named, so you can check the wording before you stake.

Who is behind BetSites.ng

BetSites.ng is published by Heatherquay Media Limited, Europort, Europort Road, Gibraltar GX11 1AA. Both what the site publishes and how it is funded are that company's responsibility. You can reach the editorial team at info@betsites.ng; the Contact Us page explains what to include when you write about a bookmaker or a payout.

Betting should stay a game

BetSites.ng is an independent Nigerian betting guide. We are not a bookmaker and we take no bets. Every operator on this site is checked for a licence that covers Nigeria, for naira deposits through Nigerian banks and wallets, and for a payout route that works from Lagos and Abuja. Links to operators are commercial; the order of our table does not depend on them. Odds, bonus figures and limits change — read the operator's own terms before you stake.

Since the Supreme Court judgment of 22 November 2024 gambling is a matter for Nigeria's states. The NLRC still licenses operators in the FCT; in Lagos the regulator is the Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority.
