About BetSites

Affiliate Disclosure

BetSites.ng is free to read. This page explains who pays for it, how that money reaches us and why it does not decide what we write. It sits alongside our Disclaimer, our Terms of Use and the method described on How We Rate. The site is published by Heatherquay Media Limited, Europort, Europort Road, Gibraltar GX11 1AA.

Where the money comes from

BetSites.ng earns its income from affiliate agreements with bookmakers and betting platforms. When a reader follows one of our links to a bookmaker and then registers, deposits or bets there, the bookmaker may pay Heatherquay Media Limited a commission. Depending on the agreement this is a one-off fee per new customer or a share of the revenue that customer generates for the bookmaker. We do not sell articles, we do not take payment for a review, and we do not charge readers.

What it means for you

Nothing is added to your stake, your deposit or your withdrawal because you arrived from BetSites.ng. The bonus, the odds and the payment options are the ones the bookmaker offers to every new customer in Nigeria. Occasionally a bookmaker gives our readers a promo code or a slightly better offer; when that happens, the page says so and names the conditions.

Which links are commercial

Commercial links appear in the comparison tables on our betting sites pages, in the bookmaker reviews, on the bonus and free bet pages, and on buttons such as "Visit site" or "Claim bonus". These buttons pass through an address beginning with /go/ on our own domain, which records the click and forwards you to the bookmaker. Links to regulators, helplines, payment providers' help pages, competition organisers and news sources are not paid and earn us nothing.

Rankings, positions and featured bookmakers

Most bookmakers in our tables are partners, and the commission they pay can differ from one to another. The order of a table is set by the checks described on How We Rate: whether the operator's licence covers Nigeria, whether naira deposits and withdrawals work through local banks and wallets, how fast and complete the payouts were in our tests, how fair the bonus terms are, and how the app and support perform. A higher commission does not move a bookmaker up the table, and a partner that fails on licence or payouts is not recommended. Where a position on a page is sponsored, it is marked as such on that page.

How we keep reviews independent

An affiliate agreement gives a bookmaker no say over what we publish: it cannot read, approve or change a review before it goes live, and it cannot buy a better verdict. If an operator slows its payouts, tightens its bonus rules or loses a licence, we update the review and its place in the table even when that bookmaker is a partner.

Your part

A link from BetSites.ng is a starting point, not a guarantee. Before you register, read the bookmaker's terms, check its licence for your state, and confirm the current bonus conditions. Betting is for adults aged 18 and over, and only with money you can afford to lose; our Responsible Gambling page lists Nigerian help lines.

Changes to this page

We update this disclosure when the way the site is financed changes. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version.

Questions about our partnerships

If you want to know whether a particular link is commercial, or you think a page does not make it clear enough, write to us.

Betting should stay a game

BetSites.ng is an independent Nigerian betting guide. We are not a bookmaker and we take no bets. Every operator on this site is checked for a licence that covers Nigeria, for naira deposits through Nigerian banks and wallets, and for a payout route that works from Lagos and Abuja. Links to operators are commercial; the order of our table does not depend on them. Odds, bonus figures and limits change — read the operator's own terms before you stake.

Since the Supreme Court judgment of 22 November 2024 gambling is a matter for Nigeria's states. The NLRC still licenses operators in the FCT; in Lagos the regulator is the Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority.
